We’re proud to have been judged by the UK Government as the nation’s most successful small-medium consultancy for exports of our services to clients around the world.
The winners of the Made in the UK, Sold to the World Awards have been announced today by the UK Government's Department for Business & Trade.
The Awards celebrate the international success of small and medium businesses across the UK. The judges probed companies’ progress in selling their services or products beyond the UK, the jobs those exports have generated and their plans for continued expansion.
They recognised Intralink for helping more than 1,500 companies worldwide to secure overseas deals worth around £600 million.
We were able to demonstrate that we’re a UK-headquartered business which is exporting services to clients in more than 20 overseas markets including the US, Germany, France, Japan, Israel, Finland, Hungary and Malaysia.
In fact, most of our business growth in the last five years has been driven by service exports. And, over the last year, almost 80% of our revenue came from export clients.
We also detailed our plans to continue growing our exports, including expansion of our business to support organisations in new global markets.
Of course, all our services are, by their very nature, centred on exporting: not only do we increasingly sell our own services overseas; our core business is to help other companies succeed in international markets.
Minister for Exports, Lord Offord, said: “We’re proud of our British exporters and these Awards highlight some fantastic businesses punching above their weight and selling UK-made products and services around the world.
“I hope the winners serve as inspiration to others looking to get onto the exporting ladder and encourage more businesses to showcase the incredible talent and innovation of UK businesses selling abroad.”
Our CEO, Greg Sutch, said: “I’m extremely pleased we’ve won this prestigious award.
“There’s a keen, growing appetite for cross-border business development which has enabled us to export our services to more and more companies and governments around the world. I’m grateful to all our clients and employees for enabling us to achieve our business growth and win this accolade. And, as a next step, we’re planning to offer our services to clients in new locations in Asia and the Middle East.”
This isn’t our first award for exports success. We’re past winners of the Queen’s Award for Enterprise in the UK and, in the USA, the President’s E Award for Export Service.
