Stewart heads our Electronics & Embedded Software Practice, managing an international team of specialists who help western tech companies to develop and implement growth strategies in Asia.
Based in Shanghai, he runs business development programmes for clients in fields including fabless chip design, semiconductor IP, EDA tools, fab operations, HPC computing and next-gen materials. He’s secured deals for clients with large Chinese corporations including Huawei, Alibaba and NIO, as well as many other contracts with companies in the semiconductor, cloud computing, automotive and smartphone industries.
Originally from the UK, Stewart is fluent in English and Chinese and has lived in China for well over a decade. He studied Chinese & Management at Sheffield University, gained an MA in International Trade from Nanjing South East University, and has a mini-MBA in sustainable development from AmCham Shanghai.
In his spare time, he likes to play tennis and badminton – he’s a qualified coach – and to escape the city to hike in the great outdoors.
