Four innovative UK tech companies have been selected to receive Government support from the UK-APAC Tech Growth Programme to accelerate their plans for expansion in Japan. The companies offer a range of technologies identified as of interest to Japanese corporations, including the developer of a ‘space situational awareness’ system to tackle the increasing problem of satellite congestion, and the provider of a ‘nature intelligence platform’ to help organisations manage their use of natural resources.

We’ve started a business development initiative in Japan for Evove, a UK scaleup with a mission to “filter the unfilterable and separate the inseparable!”

We’ve brokered a partnership between our “waste gas-to-value” client Utility Global and the engineering arm of Hanwha Corporation – South Korea’s seventh largest company – to explore ways to produce hydrogen from biogas in Korea and beyond.

We’ve secured an important partnership – with Chinese digital transformation specialist TRI-I Biotech – to help global enterprise informatics company STARLIMS to expand its footprint in China.

We’re kicking off business development programmes to enable Utility’s innovative gas conversion technology to help decarbonise Japanese and South Korean heavy industry firms.

It’s wonderful to see our US robotics vision client DreamVu progress from the business development programme we’ve been running in Korea – with five new customers secured.
