Long-standing international business professional Andrew Blazye has joined us as the new Chair of our board to help guide our next phase of development.
His non-executive appointment follows investment in our company by Mobeus Equity Partners and the retirement of our founder and previous Chair, James Lawson.
Andrew brings an impressive track record in international business.
He was previously President of International Corporate Development for global business payments company FLEETCOR Technologies, which our teams helped to expand in Asia. His particular focus at the company was on driving growth in Japan, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand.
Andrew also brings many years’ experience from senior roles at energy giant Shell, which saw him living and working in Malaysia, Canada and the US as well as his home country of England.
Alongside his new role at Intralink, Andrew is Chair of financial software group Aryza and of fire safety products firm FireAngel.
Andrew said: “I had no hesitation accepting my new role as Intralink’s Chair – and investing in the business – because I have such strong belief in the company. I know from having been on the client side that the company is full of smart, dedicated people with an exemplary client service ethic. They have a great culture and spirit of dynamism. And I’m excited by the commercial potential facing the business which the investment by Mobeus will enable us to realise.
“I’m greatly looking forward to being part of the company’s continuing success story by helping it to enable even more clients to succeed in even more international markets.”
Our CEO, Greg Sutch, commented: “Andrew brings significant experience and business acumen to our board, which will be of great value to us as we continue to deepen and broaden our expertise, services and markets.”
