We’re proud to have picked up a prestigious President’s E Award - hot on the heels of a UK Government Award last month - for helping 86 US entities across 21 states to expand overseas in the last four years.
We’re one of only 13 companies in the USA to have gained a President’s E Star Award for Export Service this year, in the coveted prize programme that’s been running for 63 years. It’s the second time we’ve been recognised in these Awards since 2019 – and our business has doubled over this time.
We won this year’s Award for the work by our teams in California, Massachusetts and Virginia, as well as our other offices around the world, to help drive American organisations’ international growth.
The accolade acknowledges our rapidly-expanding work for US government bodies. We’ve delivered 200 assignments for economic development organisations (EDOs) representing US states since 2020, enabling their regions’ businesses to increase international sales, as well as attracting interest from overseas investors.
The Award also recognises the transformational results we’ve secured for our American private sector clients, which we were able to demonstrate through detailed case examples.
These results included multi-million-dollar deals with Japanese pharmaceutical groups for Californian precision medicine company, Personalis …
… sales for our Pennsylvanian imaging client DreamVu to five major Asian corporations including LG Electronics …
… and a partnership between Texan clean energy firm, Utility Global, and South Korean industrial giant Hanwha to turn wastewater biogas into hydrogen.
US Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, said: “This well-deserved award is the highest honour given to providers of services to exporters.
“Intralink has demonstrated a sustained commitment to export expansion. We recognise the company’s 50% increase in US clients assisted since first receiving the President's E Award in 2019. The company’s work with state governments to support the exports of business in those states is also notable.”
She continued: “Intralink’s achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the US economy and create American jobs.”
