Our Tokyo team has kicked off a business development initiative for Citrine Informatics — a US firm that provides AI software to optimise manufacturers’ advanced material R&D and accelerate product development.
The initiative fits our specialisation in the industrial and software sectors — and follows hot on the heels of the start of our sales programme in Japan and Korea for factory energy intelligence firm Metron.
Based in Silicon Valley, Citrine provides award-winning material optimisation and data management tools to help companies develop products faster and at lower cost. It sees expansion in Japan as an important part of its international growth.
The company already works with global leaders in materials and chemicals, including Panasonic, AGC (EU), BASF, and LANXESS. It now wants to build on its early success and ramp up its growth in Japan.
Our role will be to use our connections to engage companies in Japan’s automotive, aerospace, batteries, polymers, lubricants and other industrial fields. We’ll present Citrine’s technology to primary decision makers, assess their interest in Citrine’s products and work to secure Proof of Concept deals for our client.
We’ll also manage Citrine’s relationships with its existing Japanese customers.
Greg Mulhullond, Citrine CEO & Co-Founder, explains: “Japan has a long and storied history as a global leader in materials and manufacturing innovation, and we're excited to invest more deeply in the market.
“We’re proud that our relationship with Intralink will allow us to work more closely with our Japanese partners and customers to bring the world's best materials informatics solution to the country."
