We’ve been selected by The State International Development Organizations (SIDO) as an approved consultancy to help US state economic development organisations (EDOs) expand their overseas trade.
Headquartered in Washington DC, SIDO is a non-profit organisation which supports the USA’s 50 states with their international trade activities.
Our selection as an approved vendor in SIDO’s 2024-25 Access International Markets (AIM) Program means American state-level trade agencies can now engage us through the organization to help expand their exports.
Our listing in the SIDO vendor catalogue summarises our 34-year track record and describes the hands-on approach we take, with teams on the ground in three continents that not only advise our clients but deliver practical business development initiatives and secure commercial deals.
And it highlights our win, this May, of a US President’s E Star Award for Export Service - for supporting 86 companies and EDOs from 21 US states with their international trade over the last four years.
Commenting on the Award, US Secretary of Commerce, Gina Raimondo, said: “Intralink’s achievements have undoubtedly contributed to national export expansion efforts that support the US economy and create American jobs.”
We also just exhibited at the annual SIDO Best Practices & Training Forum for EDOs, in Salt Lake City, from 24-26 September.
Our trade & investment services
On the international trade side, we produce overseas market intelligence reports, provide in-country support for exporters, and advise government agencies and private companies on their market expansion strategies. We also run trade missions – like this recent visit to South Korea for Canadian cleantech and life sciences companies.
On the investment side, we help government bodies identify the most suitable markets and companies to target, build links with those companies and, ultimately, secure FDI deals on our clients’ behalf.
Our government clients include the US states of Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, New Jersey, South Carolina and Washington, the Canadian province of Ontario and city of Summerside, Switzerland Global Enterprise, Innovation Norway, Enterprise Ireland and the UK’s Department for Business & Trade. We also work for EDOs in the Middle East.
