Background:
Intralink insists upon the highest professional, legal and ethical standards throughout its business operations. These standards are matched by our commitment to supporting our local communities, embracing sustainability and promoting a healthy, diverse and prejudice-free corporate culture. Intralink’s ‘Sustainable Procurement Policy’ was created with these goals in mind and forms a part of the broader sustainable policy that ensures staff across the organisation adhere to the guidelines of the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
Intralink:
Only purchases equipment from reputable vendors with clear guidelines on sustainability and policies to address the prevention of modern slavery
Assesses ways to reduce the risk of modern slavery occurring within our business and supply chain by requiring local purchasing managers to conduct reviews where risks are flagged up
Regularly identifies and implements ways to reduce our carbon footprint, such as banning one-time use cups and utensils and only using sustainably sourced local paper, food and beverages for its global offices, with the goal of halving the CO2 cost of running 14 global offices (see Intralink’s Sustainability & community support promise for more)
Intralink’s Sustainable Procurement Policy is communicated throughout the firm and is available for public review on our website. It will be reviewed on an annual basis in order to accommodate for any changes to our offices’ local supply chains.
